The pants are as versatile as the days and nights in August: long, wide-legged linen pants or below-the-knee culottes, pleated or with a decorative partial seam, in silver, blue, yellow, black, green, anthracite, striped, or plain. Combined with a top made of viscose, cotton, or linen, long-sleeved, short, or sleeveless, with knitwear or a light jacket, we extend the summer. On hot days, we wear airy dresses and skirts—delicate and stylish with a touch of playfulness. Just what summer is all about.

Within just a few years, the IPFO – International Photo Festival Olten – has become a leading festival in its field. The next edition is coming soon: from August 20th to 24th, Olten will transform into the European capital of photography, bringing together some of the most important figures of our time.
In addition to artist talks, lectures, and workshops, the best submissions from the international competition " Photoville4600 " by photographers from all over the world will be presented – all under the open sky. There will also be Exhibitions on moving topics: fake and disinformation in the age of AI, people on the margins of society, and images in which everyday life and absurdity overlap. The IPFO describes itself as a celebration of photography in all its facets, bringing together photographers from all over the world and helping to shape the future of visual art.
