How we design in our Zurich studio

At paradis collections, every piece begins in our Zurich studio, a place where ideas have time to develop, materials are carefully selected, and design is shaped not by urgency, but by intention.
A process from the present moment
Designing a collection does not begin with a trend forecast, but with a feeling.
Each season, we develop our collections from within ourselves through observation, research, and a continuous dialogue between form, fabric, and function. We take the time to understand how a garment should move, how it feels on the body, and how it integrates into a woman's everyday life.
This slower, more conscious process allows us to create pieces that are not defined by a moment, but remain relevant over time.
From idea to form
Every design begins with an idea, a vision that often exists intuitively before it is translated into words or drawings.
Instead of exclusively working with sketches, the designer begins by shaping the piece directly on a dress form. Working with fabric in three dimensions allows the form to emerge more naturally. Volumes are adjusted, lines refined, and proportions developed in real time.
Through this artisanal process, the garment gradually takes shape, guided as much by intuition as by technique.
Craftsmanship and Collaboration
While the design process begins in Zurich, each piece is realized in close collaboration with a small, family-run atelier in Croatia.
We believe in understanding every step of the process, from the initial sketch to the finished garment. This connection stands not only for quality, but also for transparency and respect for the people behind each piece.
Designing with time in mind
We create garments that can be worn across seasons, effortlessly combined, and lived in. Timeless silhouettes, thoughtful details, and high-quality materials form the foundation of each collection.
Instead of producing more, we focus on producing better. Over time, many of our pieces become part of a shared wardrobe and are passed down from mother to daughter.
The studio as a living space
Our studio is not just a place of creation, but part of our boutique, a space where design and presentation meet.
Here, garments exist alongside selected external brands, our office, and the studio itself. Customers are invited into this world and experience the collection in the context in which it was created.
This proximity between design and wearer is essential for us. It keeps the process grounded, personal, and real.
A continuous dialogue
For us, design is never static.
Each collection builds on the previous one, evolving through subtle changes and new perspectives. It is a continuous dialogue between past and present, between structure and lightness, and between the garment and the woman who wears it.
From our studio in Zurich, we design pieces with intention, created to last and to be part of a conscious wardrobe over time.
